Fall Fishing is Fantastic

Fall and early winter fishing has been excellent in the backcountry. From Flamingo to Chokoloskee, the redfish and snook bite has been explosive. Live bait or lures, the quality and quantity of fish has been the best I've seen in a long time. The incoming tides have been our best best-it's easy to time the bite with a prior look at a tidal chart. Check before you go. Prepare for extreme tides later on this winter and know your navigational routes as you don't want to get stuck on a mudflat or an oyster bar.
