flamingo Fly fishing report

A little breezy in the morning and very foggy. We threw out a chum bag and about 10 to 15 minutes later we had a slew to Skip Jacks in the chum slick! Well that was actually a great sign. We boated 11 to 12 Mackerel on chartreuse clouser minnows, stripped as fast as possible. And we caught some nice macs until the sun came out and the wind died. After that we cruised the park boundary markers and traps outside and found plenty of Triple tail. We had 15 to 20 shots and boated 8 on fly. The fly was a tan and gold Kwan shrimp. There were some tarpon around but not a lot. Call if you want to fish for these trips on fly Have a great weekend and be safe! The winds will be crankin for the next several days. Capt.
