Closer to Flamingo where snook, redfish and tarpon call home to the borderline of the Everglades National Park closer to the Keys were bonefish and permit cruise the shallow tidal flats the fishing has been great. The weather has been good, hot as can be with the occasional rain showers in the afternoon cooling things up. All there is to say is PARADISE! Looking for signs of activity like rays mudding, sharks and mullet is always good whether on the flats or on a shoreline. Being patient and working areas that have activity like I mentioned above has been the key. Also being patient at your shots and waiting for the right shot has been vital to capitalizing. Remember to take extra time when releasing a fish that is stressed out from a long battle, drink plenty of water throughout the day and keep it simple out there!
