Spring is Good

Spring fishing has been good all-around south Florida waters. Flamingo has had a great trout bite with mixed action in between the flats and backcountry. The channels and grassflats have been holding good numbers of fish during moving tides. I have been using Gulp and Fishbites lures with excellent results. We have been getting bluefish, ladyfish, mackerel, and shark all while trout fishing. Near the islands we have also found redfish, drum, and sheepshead along with some big snook. I have fished with numerous folks recently including the L.Rowe family, D. takasaki for bonefish, Kenny Lugo, and many others. We have had successful days on the water.
