Flamingo, florida

August is here and July gave us some excellent days on the water with August only looking better. Everything is happening, Florida Bay has had a mixed bag of Redfish, Snook and Trout with a few tarpon showing and getting into the backcountry of Florida Bay. Closer to the keys and Biscayne Bay the permit and bonefish has been heating up. This time of year all kinds of slams are always a possibility from Grand Slams of Permit , Bonefish and tarpon to Backcountry slams(Tarpon, Redfish, Snook, Trout) and Red/bone slam (Bonefish, Redfish). We have been throwing everything from Flies to Bait and have been having luck/success with everything. Getting out early this time of year is important to catch the water temperature when it's a bit cooler , even though water temps have been good for the most part. With some clear skies and light winds you can look forward to an enjoyable day on the water, give me a call to set up your trip. {%image_id=16550%} {%image_id=16548%} {%image_id=16551%} {%image_id=16549%} {%image_id=16547%} {%image_id=16546%} TightKnots, Capt.
