Tarpon, Tarpon, Tarpon

This month it has been all about the tarpon, both big and small. It has really been a great month for tarpon fishing. There has been a lot of baby tarpon around, which is typically for summer time especially with the amount of rain we have had. There has also been a lot of fish between 30-60lbs hanging around. We have done really well on both fly and plugs this month. The best part about it is you have the entire place to yourselves. {%image_id=63847%}{%image_id=63846%}{%image_id=63845%}{%image_id=63844%}{%image_id=63843%}{%image_id=63842%}{%image_id=63841%}{%image_id=63840%} September is great month in the Everglades. There are plenty of tarpon and snook around. I have also been hearing about some great tailing redfish outfront on the flats. It is definitely some of the best fishing of the year.
