The fishing has been awesome as we have had some beautiful weather. The wind shifted a little west and brought us absolutely calm seas (now is the time for those that get sea sick). While this can be a blessing and curse at the same time, we have taken full advantage of it. This weekend looks more of the same and I just had a cancellation for the morning private sportfishing trip, so please give me a call if you are looking to go fishing this weekend OR BOOK online while dates last. Now onto the fishing report... With calm seas, the key is to cover ground. Sometimes the fishing is a gimme, but other times we have to work at it and at least find some current or bird activity to get on our bites. Using our technology as well as our experience, we have been finding the fish. I always recommend our 6 or 8 hour trip if you are looking to fill the coolers as it gives us more time to try different tactics. Today, we had some great groups out and we trolled the edge looking for mahi. We managed a few and then the bite shut off. We headed in to about 200 feet of water where we have been getting some great black grouper. The fish finder was lit up as there must of been a bunch of fish on the wreck, but we managed to stick one good one and get her home for the grill. {%image_id=56675%}{%image_id=56678%}{%image_id=56679%}
