Blue Marlin Madness

May 2, 2014 I just returned from fishing the Cape Verde Islands off the west coast of Africa aboard the sportfishing boat Hooker. It was a hell of a fishing trip as we were trying to set the women's 8 lb world record for Blue Marlin. We had over 50 bites in seven days and got within 3 feet of the leader on only one fish.
