September 19, 2013 Another year has rolled by and we once again headed north for Atlantic bluefin tunas. My dad, my buddy Mike, his dad Rob and I flew up to Antigonish, Nova Scotia to test our arms and backs with these fish. We started fishing on the 20th and 21st of September with Steven's Bluefin Charters, which you can find on Facebook. We had only one bite fishing in front of the harbor, it was tough, but we were having a good time. On the 22nd Steven put us on the fish. It was a slow start to the trip but for the next five days we caught bluefin tuna up to 1000 lbs. {%image_id=35314%} Toward the end of the trip I brought up my Lady Pamela II captains for some fishing R & R. The bite was still on and captains JJ, Darin and Kirk all got to fight a few big blues. This is some of the best fishing in the world. Some days you can hand feed the tunas on the side of the boat. They are just everywhere; it's like fishing in a barrel! {%image_id=35317%} {%image_id=35315%} {%image_id=35316%} Tight Lines, Capt.
