Sailfishing conditions have remained strong most of December, with moderate winds from the North and East most days. We have been averaging 4 sailfish bites over the past few weeks but have had up to 15 in a day. We are doing best kite fishing with goggle eyes and herring/pilchards on the kite and north current. Finding the current has been key to multiple bites throughout the day. On the reef some small dolphin remain but seem to have really thinned out over the past 2 weeks. One the reef the kingfishing has really slowed during the last week but that is only because it is picking up on the beaches as they start to chase the spanish mackeral. Bottom fishing a few groupers are starting to be caught but most of the fish are still undersized they should become thicker as the weeks pass. Mixed in are a few snappers if you can get past the amberjacks and sharks. The deep wrecks are holding a good amount of AJs if you are looking for something to tug on. Swordfishing remains consistent when you can get out. The higher winds usually keeps the pressure off the grounds so whenever we get out the fishing has been good to excellent with multiple fish caught every trip, day and night.
