{%image_id=47722%} The Deep Sea fishing here in Fort Lauderdale has been pretty steady on most days with some really nice fish hitting the fish box with good regularity. {%image_id=47720%}We continue to pick away at an occasional Sailfish both live baiting and also by trolling dead baits. We are again targeting the golden tiles out in water over 700 feet deep when current allows and also essentially on calmer sea condition days. As before not every day is a calm sunny postcard perfect Chamber of commerce day, but is has been very fishable and we tweak the program to fit the conditions when our charter anglers are flexible. Some Blackfin Tunas and of course those Bonito getting in the mix. When a tanker or freighter anchors off shore of here in deeper water of say 250 to 350 feet those ships become Tuna magnets for us and have led to some good catches. Wahoo as well. A day with no anchored ships off the edge and we might well target the Greater Amberjacks that have moved onto the deeper wrecks and structure. {%image_id=47721%}The photos with this report are of really fun couple, Tim and Kim, fishing with us again and hailing out of Woodstock, Ga.on a half day morning charter aboard Marlin My Darlin. Catch and release on those Amberjacks. That Wahoo and Blackfins hit the ice.{%image_id=47719%}
