Deep Sea fishing in Fort Lauderdale

Awhile since our last report, but staying busy. Finally a break from the wind. Back to beautiful weather after several days of a good stiff onshore breeze and a lumpy ocean. We continue to pick away at the Sailfish, most taking live baits. Not many around but seeing them when we live bait with the exception of one yesterday we caught trolling. Trolling off the edge producing smaller to medium sized Blackfin Tunas. Wahoos pictured were taken by trolling and also on live baits. Some good fish once again around but the fishing in Fort Lauderdale overall has slowed. Gotta go to catch them, Sails on each of our Marlin My Darlin charters yesterday. Tilefish season is in full swing, Grouper season is closed. The nice Black Grouper pictured was slightly better than 20#, and got to swim happily away. Hopefully many baby Groupers in her future translating to more for all of us and of course the anglers down the road who take a deep sea fishing charter with us . Management works. Enjoy the photos of anglers who have joined us aboard Marlin My Darlin. See you on the rip {%image_id=64826%}{%image_id=64827%}{%image_id=64828%}{%image_id=64829%}{%image_id=64830%}{%image_id=64831%}{%image_id=64832%}{%image_id=64833%}{%image_id=64834%}{%image_id=64835%}
