{%image_id=69783%} Small front passing through today. The last two have been severely weakened as they move through the state, but with the weakening also seems to come a slowdown in movement, and these systems, although weak and fairly mild, drag on and on occasion almost stall. Not shutting us down by any means, but pesky, and just "here". This one will be a memory soon enough, and the forecast is strong for quite a few days. We have had some nice catches as we move deeper into May. Still an occasional difficult day offshore but some fine fish and good numbers recently. Sailfish around and Wahoo have been in the box and on the ice regularly. Blackfin Tunas just off the reef lines and over wrecks and on bait. The Bonito mixed in with them are larger ones. Good sized Amberjacks on the nearby wrecks. Two of the last three days have offered good numbers of Kingfish, and a good bite on them even with the exceptionally clear blue water pushing up on the reefs they typically inhabit. Sharks and big Barracudas have been stealing a few more than normal off anglers lines. Mahi-Mahi action remains weak and very spotty most days. So don't breeze out here and expect to crush them. Always possible, it's May, but not so much right now. Enjoy the photos we always include of anglers who have joined us here aboard Marlin My Darlin for a fishing charter in Ft. Lauderdale. Tight lines, see yo on the rip. {%image_id=69789%}{%image_id=69788%}{%image_id=69787%}{%image_id=69786%}{%image_id=69785%}{%image_id=69780%}{%image_id=69781%}{%image_id=69782%}{%image_id=69784%}{%image_id=69779%}{%image_id=69778%}
