On Saturday, we fished with Michel Audette, his friend, his daughter and his grandson. Before leaving the inlet we bought some pilchards and google eyes. With the wind northeast at 15 to 20 knots, we decided to start a little south of the port and set up in 250'. We found nice blue water and setup our first drift with 4 pilchards: 2 flat and 2 deep. This first drift produced 1 bonito. We setup again, but this time we started deeper, in 350', and put out 2 google eyes on the kite, 2 pilchards on top and 2 more deep. Right away, we caught a Mahi then we caught a 30 lb. silky shark. When we got to the 100' depth, we caught a nice sailfish on one of the kite baits. {%image_id=36032%} As we drifted closer to the port, I decided to troll a few feathers that produced 7 small tuna! Every one of our angler took turns reeling in these tough little fighters. With some fish for dinner and a nice sailfish release to remember, everyone enjoyed the fishing trip! Capt.
