New fish showing up. Sunday morning was what I've been looking for the past couple of weeks. We found the right depth on our first drift and kept working it foe the rest of the morning. First drift produced the best with 3 big fish on and 2 lost. The boated fish was a smoker Kingfish and went almost 50 pounds. One fish was bigger than that one and had broke the wire near the boat as the angler couldn't lift the rod tip out of the water. The next drift over the same depth produced a run of Bonito's that hit almost every rod, nice little slobs around 15 pounds each. The third drift again as we went over the same depth produced Dolphin everywhere up to 8 pounds or so. We call them lifters as we lift them in the boat without the gaff. By this time we ran out of Tinker mackeral and were on the last of the Pilchards. We headed in early as the wind was picking up pretty bad from the south. March should prove to be a great month fishing. Captain Cary Hanna New Lattitude Sportfishing Charters 954-907-0967
