Now is the time to get out. These cold fronts are making it the hottest fishing ever. Today I took out my barber Jorge. He has been out on the party boats plenty of times but has never been able to get on a Sailfish. This morning was his day as we got into 2 double header Sailfish, one set was in 130 feet and the other set was in 200 feet. They were tailing down a nice ground swell coming from the north. Then we had some Kingfish action that was pretty hot. One fish came in about 20 pounds and then the Mac Daddy hit. We thought it was a Wahoo as it made at least a dozen hard runs away from the boat. we finally got it close enough for the gaff and heaved her in weighing near 50 pounds, A trophy catch. We also had a Spinner shark which didn't last long but at least we were able to see him jump 3 times and spin himself crazy. He broke off as they almost always do. The bigger fish are starting to show up and so are the sharks. A few big mako's have been caught in the last week. Come on out and see what it's all about.
