She's Blowin The past 2 weeks there has been a high pressure ridge just sitting outside the south Florida east coast. This has resulted in constant heavy winds and gusts. Last week was much worse as it wasnt even fishable with seas at 6-10 feet. This week though the seas were mostly 3-5 and definately fishable. Constant reports of nice Dolphin being caught are coming from the entire coast along with Blackfin Tuna and more Kingfish action to keep you busy. The bottom bite will be good this month. The Mutton Snappers will be spawning as always predicted on the May full moon. I particularly like to fish the bottom on calmer days with seas 4 feet or less. Out in the deeper depths the bottom fishing is always good with the anticipation of catching a wide variety of big Sharks and even a few different Grouper species like the Snowy or Warsaw Groupers. I am now at the Bahia Mar docks next to the Flamingo drift boat on the north side of the hotel on A1A. Come by and chat or lets go fishing. See you on the rip, Captain Cary Hanna 954-907-0967
