Our Fort Lauderdale Deep Sea fishing charters continue to have good action. Lots of bait and a resulting concentration of larger predatory fish on and just offshore of our outermost reef line. Loads of Bonito continue to pass thru our area and they bite morning or afternoon with a fury. Not too selective on most days and almost any bait moving at a slightly increased speed above our typical reef speed gets eaten. They can be very leader conscious at times (they are Tuna family) so a slightly lighter leader material coupled with the increased trolling speed will get the most attention. Horrible to eat (although we had some folks try them yesterday / they called back " Great filletts , no bones, tasted like /XO!?X, you guys were right"), but a blast to catch, especially when trying to keep your younger ones as well as older ones reeling in fish. When they move on we will miss them, even though we occasionally cuss them now. Some nice Kings on the reef. Catching Dorado but many remain small. A couple of Wahoo have hit the cooler. {%image_id=21831%}Pictured is Chris releasing a beautiful full grown Sailfish at boatside for the Biston family while out on a Fort Lauderdale Deep Sea fishing charter aboard Marlin My Darlin.
