{%image_id=35359%}We received a call from a gentleman by the name of Tim who had heard of us here @ All-Inclusive Sportfishing to set up a charter aboard the Marlin My Darlin. At the time I had no idea that Tim is also known as "Gooch" in the band Depeche Mode. During our second conversation just prior to the charter he filled me in on the details of his group. I in turn filled him in on the details of what had been biting and what types of fish we might encounter during the charter. We set the charter up for a 7 AM start. Despite that they played a gig the night before they (Craig, Dave, Christian, Gooch and Genny) were actually at our dock early and ready to go and we got off before the scheduled 7 AM start. Pleasant morning here in Ft. Lauderdale as we headed offshore. Mostly sunny skies with only a slight chance of rain. Light onshore wind again out of the east and the temperature was touching 80 as we began to fish. North current at about one knot one mile from shore with clean clear water again in 100 feet. Lots of Bonito with a few Kings were the bulk of the catch. The Bonito were very much in presence today and if we spent more that a few minutes inside of 250 feet of water they were all over us. We kept some and tossed some back. Busy morning with lots of bites on all rods whether they were fished deep or simply on the surface.
