We headed out Port Everglades with six people on a split charter this morning. We went straight to catching live bait and had the trolling gear ready to hit the reef. It was a pretty quick bite this morning. 20 minutes into the trip we landed a nice 10 lb kingfish. From there it was kingfish, bonito, kingfish, bonito....one after another. At one point we had 4 fish on at one time, so everybody had caught a fish and some were reeling in for seconds. Captain Paul and I decided to try our luck and stop by a few of our local wrecks. We dropped on 5 wrecks, but nobody was home. We ran to a ledge that usually produces and within 10 minutes we got the bite and he fell off! Captain Paul dropped the bait down three times after that and we finally hooked this monster Barracuda. Check out the pictures. What an awesome fish! {%image_id=5996%} Tight Lines!
