Kingfish & Swordfish The Kingfish have been thick one day and disappear the next day. We limited out last Monday 10/21/02 trolling planers with spoons and strips in 80' to 200' of water. We couldn't get any big ones on live bait. Go figure! The Swordfish have continued to bite. Two weeks ago some boats reported 5 to 10 fish in one night! Last Saturady night we were 3 for 3. 50 to 75 lbs each. We continue to tag & release the samll ones! The bite was in 1200' of water straight off of Lauderdale. Friday we caught 10 Dolphin (Mahi-mahi) in 500' of water. All the fish were over 8 lbs. We did manage to catch a Sailfish while trolling on the reef on last Sunday. The weather is like summertime, so the seas are calm, the fishing is good. The only problem is that business is slow this time of year. When we do get out during the week, we have the whole ocean to ourselves. This week is the BOAT SHOW! So it will be crazy around the docks. However, we are availible to go Swordfishing at a moments notice! Lets go fishing! Catch-em-up, Capt. Kunta
