Sailfish & Swordfish! The Fort Lauderdale Billfish Tournament was held last weekend. There were 365 Sailfish caught from 67 boats in 3 days. Most of these fish were caught right out front of Ft. Lauderdale, Miami and Boynton Beach. There were many Dolphin (Mahi-mahi) caught too. The winds were NE and it seems to push all the fish within a mile and a half of the beach. We did catch some nice King Mackerel and one boat caught a 46 lb Wahoo. There are a few Amberjacks and groupers on the wrecks, but everytime we hook one, a Bull Shark eats them! The weather has finally let us get out Swordfishing. Last night we caught a double header of Swords as soon as we put the baits out! We let one go about 50 lbs. and kept the other one after a 40 minute fish. The fish was 115 lbs. All the other boats we talked to caught fish too. Let's get out there and catch one!!!! Catch-em-up, Captain Kunta
