A little of everything! Fishing has been challenge to say the least! When the current is moving, the fishing has been decent. One day last week the current was dead and nothing was biting! We went above Pompano Beach just to catch a fish! There has been a few King Mackerel (Kingfish) on the reefs. We have been catching them by trolling Bonito strips on planers in 120’ of water. We have also been catching some big Kingfish with live bait on the reefs too. One boat weighed one Kingfish at 62 lbs. and another 32 lbs. fish, yesterday. The current was moving again! The Sailfish are still biting under the proper conditions. Northerly winds and some current. Some Dolphin (Mahi-mahi) have been mixed in too. A few boats have wandered offshore to 10 miles and a found a few small schools of fish. The Amberjacks are on the wrecks, but again you need some current to get the fish to bite! Some Mako Sharks are starting to show up offshore. The Mako Sharks are eating Swordfish, while anglers are hooked up and fighting the Swordfish. Swordfishing has been good. We have caught one each of the last two nights we went out this week. The fish have been anywhere from 60 lbs to 150 lbs. We have had some decent weather to get out there. Let’s go fishing! Catch-em-up, Captain Kunta
