Mahi-mahi, Sharks and more! With the March winds blowing, it has produced lots of nice sized Mahi-mahi (Dolphin fish). We had one day last week of 20 fish with over half of them in the 10 to 20 lb class. (gaffers) We also had 4 Wahoo of 10 to 20 lbs each. We were trolling down a weed line in 500' of water. Al the other boats on the weed line had similar catches. Live baiting and Kite fishing has produced some Sailfish and more Mahi-mahi. Some nice sized King Mackerel are also hitting the live baits. There have been a few Mako & Thresher sharks showing up offshore. These Sharks will only be around a few weeks as they travel thought his area. One charter boat off North Miami caught a 700+ lb. Blue Marlin last Friday. They were catching Mahi-mahi when this Marlin came in to feed. Trolling on the reefs, there are some King Mackerel, Bonita, Barracuda and even a stray Sailfish being caught. It's really a great time of year to catch just about everything! When the wind has let down, we have been catching a few Swordfish. The fish have been from 70 to 150 lbs. Catch-em-up, Captain Kunta
