Swordfish & Hurricanes A commercial fisherman boated a 640 lb. Swordfish last week. Another Swordfish of 508 lbs. was reported caught by a private boat. We caught a 300 lb. and a 120 lb Swordfish two weeks ago. The Swordfishing is still great and the weather has been calm except for the passing of Hurricane Katrina. We made it safely though the storm and we are ready to fish. Usually after a storm all the fish really bite. We have been catching our limit on King Mackerel and some bomber Bonitos, trolling along the reef. We have been catching some bigger Kings on live bait in and around the schooling fish. The wrecks are still producing some Groupers, Amberjacks, Barracudas and an occasional Shark. The kids are back in School and everyone is back to work, so we have the whole ocean to ourselves during the week. So let’s get out there and catch some fish! Catch-m-up, Captain Kunta & Captain Wally
