April fishing is great so far. The past few weeks have been very busy. I haven’t even had time to do a report. Thanks to all of our past and present clients we have been fishing everyday and quite a few nights. The day time fishing has been producing lots of King Mackerel and catching some bigger fish on live baits. Mahi-mahi (dolphin fish) fishing has really turned on with schools of peanut mahi-mahi one trip and some nice gaffers on the next day. We have been seeing some fish up to 40lbs. The fish have been anywhere for 1 to 8 miles offshore. The Mako Sharks and Thresher Sharks are still around along with Hammerhead, Bull and Blacktip sharks. It has been very exciting. The Swordfishing was sporadic in March, but the past few nights the fishing has been great. Recently, some boats have had 3 fish per boat trips and one boat caught a 358 lbs. Swordfish Sunday night. We are going again tonight. The big Miami Sailfish Tournament is this weekend and the Sailfish have been to the South, so we should have a good report next week. Catch-em-up, Captain Kunta
