Let's go Fishing The Mahi-Mahi are still biting. As our last report, we thought this was the best Mahi-mahi (Dolphin fish) season that we had seen in quite a few years. Well they keep on coming. Fish over 50 pounds are still being reported every other day. We had one over 30 lbs and we have caught quite a few gaffers along with all the schoolies you want to catch. The King Mackerel are still biting with the larger ones eating live bait on the downrigger and out of the kite. A few Blackfin Tuna are mixed in too. The wrecks are still producing some Amberjacks, but most of the fish have moved off the wrecks. That leaves a few Mutton Snappers and Groupers on the wrecks with Bull Sharks always lurking around. Swordfishing is decent, but it sure has been blowing. Boats are averaging a fish a night. Nothing red hot, but…….. All in all, the fishing is still pretty good. Even a few Sailfish around if you put your time in fishing for them. Tight Lines, Lady Pamela II crew
