Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Saltwater Fishing Report

It's been a while since my last update. This time of year most of my time is spent outside the inlet chasing bluewater species. I have put out a few baits on the inland waters when the weather didn't allow the offshore adventure though. We had good success with Barracuda and Jack Crevalles when trying for them. This is the time of year to target catch and release Snook fishing. They bite best in this area during the outgoing tides at sunset or soon after. Sunrise can be productive too. The inlets and waters that flow strong with the tide will hold fish, especially if there are bright lights and shadows in the vicinity. Offshore the Dolphin and Sailfish are cooperating. Not a steady bite but some days ar better then others. That's fishing!
Tight Lines,
Capt. Andy Roydhouse
