Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Saltwater Fishing Report

March already! We get closer to my favorite time of year to soak a bait here. The action has made a quick turn for the better lately. The inshore bite is the usual Jack Crevalle, Barracuda and the ever tricky Tarpon. The bottom is holding a good mix of assorted species. Just drop down a live shrimp and start the tally of different species. Most of my latest action has taken place a mile or so off the beach. Mostly Kingfish, an occasional Sailfish and a few schoolie Dolphin. The bite has been faily consistent. Many days found us with multiple bent rods. As we closer to spring expect the fishing to heat up, as it always does. Sea Ya, Captain Ron
Tight Lines,
Capt. Andy Roydhouse
