Spring is here. We are almost into summer conditions already. Lots of bait moving north and the gamefish are follwing. This past week has put a suprising amount of Sailfish on the end of the line. They are biting in shallow, green water. Not what you would expect. Mixed in with them are the usual slob Kingfish too. We caught a chunky 33 pounder yesterday, plus others. The Dolphin are scattered. A few stray large ones in close and even more scattered schollies further offshore. Don't run too far though. The Sharks are cooperating. Mostly Hammerheds and a few Threshers mixed in. The real suprise is the Mako's. A few fought and some landed this week by the fleet.
