Lots of rain and thunderstorms the last few weeks. Luckily it is building later in the day and letting me get on the water most mornings. The live baits are producing a few Kingfish and Bonita in closer on the reefs. Not many Sailfish lately. The Dolphin are a bit further offshore and have been fairly consistent. As usual, mostly schoolies but a few larger ones mixed in. It seems to be a 3 days here, 3 days gone pattern. If you pick the lucky days you will catch a few meals. The bottom action is putting a few Mutton Snappers on the line. Most of the Yellowtail are hitting after dark. Inshore, the main action has been Jack Crevalle. Some pretty good size ones too. A few Barracuda's are beating the Jacks to the bait. The bottom is putting a quick bend in the rod for those dropping down live shrimp. Many different species too.
