We are deep into summer and it's patterns. This years fishing has held up well through the heat. The Dolphin action has been the most dependable that I can remember in years. Kingfish are still making a strong showing too. I spoke to a few fisherman in the northeast while traveling there this summer and they complained about the slow season they are having because of the unusual cold water this year. Maybe that held the fish here, and we like it! If you pick the lucky day when the weather allows you to head out, you should be happy with the results. Sea Ya, Captain Ron Mallet
