As you can guess, we didn't get much time on the water during September. The constant threat and interference from the hurricanes gave us more to do then enjoy the ocean. I did squeeze in a few trips and had luck with the Kingfish and Bonita while staying closer to shore. Now that we are into October I expect the weather to cooperate and the fish usually do too! Although lots of Florida was affected by violent weather that hit the state, South Florida made it through very nicely. We have not been affected by the storms and all of the local areas and businesses are up and running as normal. Florida is a huge state and most of the disruptions are located in the mid to northern areas, 60 to 300 miles away from here. My thoughts are with those that have been affected. I know how close we all are to having our lives completely changed at any moment. I wish everyone well and hope that they get back to normal soon. Captain Ron Mallet www.actionsportfishing.com
