Into October and moving on. We finished up with a week of rain and otherwise poor weather but we are looking at another taste of summer. Sunny and hot this week. Probably our last showing before the fall patterns set in. The last few days have produced a nice showing of Kingfish right out front. Scattered burst's of fast action then a little break until the next pack floats by. Most were in the 7-15 pound range and pulled some nice drag on the light outfits. The Dolphin anglers heading further off were having a hard time producing dependable catches. With the west wind the last few days, the fish and debris is pushed out and not concentrated. Until the northeast breeze kicks in and we have a few cool nights, we should see this pattern continue. The occasional Sailfish and Bonita are being caught or fought. During the next 3 or 4 weeks we will see a big change in the action... for the better! Sea Ya, Captain Ron Mallet www.actionsportfishing.com
