The bite has changed as fast as the weather. We had a good push of Sailfish early last week then the winds came and moved them out. The Kingfish and Dolphin moved in to take up the slack though. A good showing of 8 to 20 pound Kings kept the rods bent when the fish passed by. When you sat on a school the action was fast! Dolphin in the 4-8 pound range were scattered in shallow. The water didn't look that blue but the fish were there. Inshore the bite has been best with the Jack Crevalles and Barracuda, you just need the moving tide. Live bait fishing has been the key to success. The last few days kept most smaller boats and some larger ones at the dock. Lots of wind and scattered showers. It looks like we will get a break tomorrow and I will be out hunting the action. Sea Ya, Captain Ron Mallet www.actionsportfishing.com
