We enter April. This is official spring time action. The winds finally made it comfortable to head offshore. Today we had a nice showing of fish, not many but enough to keep us watching the rods. Sailfish, Dolhpin, Kingfish and Cero Mackerel all made up the takers of bait. Some got away early, some were released and we kept a few for the table. The inshore action has been made up of the always present Jack Crevalle and Barracuda with a few Spanish Mackerel thrown in too. During the next few months we should see some of the best action of the year. Spring always brings the best bite and some of the nicest weather patterns. If YOU pick a lucky day the fishing could be great. Sea Ya, Captain Ron Mallet www.actionsportfishing.com
