The spring bite has kicked in. This week we caught a few big Kings, one over 40 and one over 30. A few more chunky ones were taken too. We did get a Cobia this week and the Sailfish were there but you had to have patience. The northwest wind was honking today and the temps were cold for Florida standards. That kept us close to shore where we picked at the Barracuda and Jack Crevalles. The Jacks were running a good size and kept the rods bent over hard. There are scattered large Dolphin out there for those with the fuel budget. Some 20-45 pounders reported out in 700-800 feet. When the winds return from the southeast they should begin to eat again.
