Made it to May and the spring bite is underway. Today we drifted live baits a few miles outside the inlet and kept busy with Dolphin (mahi-mahi), Kingfish and Bonita. The action came in waves and found us using most all the baits we had onboard. The weather was near perfect with a light breeze from the east and the temps in the low 80's. This is the time of year to be on the water here. Pick a lucky day and pretty much anything can jump on the baits since most fish are heading north past our waters for the summer.
