Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Saltwater Fishing Report

The weather has played games with our fishing action over the last few weeks. We finally got a break in the condiditions that allowed us to venture out. The Kingifsh cooperated straight outside the inlet. We would have caught a bunch if the Remoras would have left our baits alone. The Dolphin have cooperated for those running further offshore in search of weed lines and patches. Mostly school size fish but decent numbers. In between the storms over the next few days, you should be able to find places to bend a rod. The weather looks like it will calm down for next week, but the rains we are getting are a welcome event at this time. Sea Ya, Captain Ron Mallet
