We finally escaped the heat of summer. The last week has given us perfect temps and some good conditions to head offshore. The bite is mixed depending on your day. Mostly Kigfish, a few Dolphin and a Sailfish or two starting to show. The gamefish are heading south for the winter months and if you pick the lucky day they could be swimming through your baits. It has a good amount to do with the weather, water conditions and luck. Be there when they are moving and eating and you can go through a good amount of bait and keep busy with the rods. The inlet is holding some nice Barracuda. They seem to cooperate anytime of day as long as your live bait is frisky. The Jack Crevalle are best early on as long as the tide is moving. Overall great action for this time of year. Lets hope it keeps up and the weather continues to cooperate. Sea Ya, Captain Ron Mallet www.actionsportfishing.com
