November 7, 2012 This morning Darin and I took out a few clients from Oregon and Indiana. We stopped by the Lauderdale Marina on the way out and picked up some goggleyes for kite fishing. A cold front had just come through the area so I knew it was likely that a few sailfish might be around, and that they would be hungry. We found the current out in five hundred feet of water in front of Port Everglades and it was a smoking north current. Darin popped the kites up and in less than 20 minutes there was a sailfish jumping behind the boat. Angler Paul jumped into the fighting chair and landed the first fish. It turned into another crazy sailfish day as we proceeded to catch six sailfish in a row, one after the other. The weather may have been a little cold but the fishing sure was hot! What a great day for kite fishing. {%image_id=29815%} {%image_id=29814%} {%image_id=29813%} Tight Lines, Capt David Ide 965 761 8045
