Fort Lauderdale Kids Fishing Fort Lauderdale fishing and kids go hand in hand as we had our second in a series of two 13th birthday parties aboard the Marlin My Darlin. While fishing was on the slow side that day, the fish we caught were spectacular! Catching live bullet Bonitos wasn't easy but we managed enough for a few spreads in the riggers. A sailfish or two would have been welcome but the big Kingfish and a very nice Wahoo toward the end of the trip made the day.{%image_id=18516%} The kings weighed in at around 20 lbs, the Wahoo a bit bigger as you can see in the picture. The boys took their shirts off so as not to get them dirty hold the fish. They then proceeded to wipe their hands on them after putting them back on.
