Late Start right in time for the "BITE". We typically start our daytime sword trips around 7 am and get in around 6 pm. So at 7 am when Chris and David from Montauk were not at the boat I began making some phone calls. And more calls with no answer. At 8:30 I was sure they were not gonna make it when I finally got a hold of them, seems that Ft Lauderdale has a good night life. So we shoved off the dock at 11:30 am just a little behind schedule. Chris and David are a couple of cool guys and we BSed the whole whole ride out to the grounds. On our first drop we had no luck and quickly made a move to another favorite spot, the bait touched bottom and we had the bite in about 10 minutes, Chris manned the rod and had the fish to the boat in about 25 minutes, not a giant by any means but a keeper. We boated the fish, took some pics and steamed home. Great Day Guys!{%image_id=31388%}
