Unfortunately here in Ft. Lauderdale fishing has been a bit on the tough side. This warm weather has still got the fish in a foul mood and on some days our catches are reflecting this hand of cards we have been dealt. It would be nice to get just enough cooler weather that the fishing consistently turns on, yet not so cool as to ruin everybody's day. There's a fine line in there somewhere. We are fishing very hard every day trying for good results for our customers. Sailfish are still elusive but always a possibility. There are good catches. Pictured is young Blake and first mate Andrew with a really nice Sailfish that Blake caught on 20 pound spin. A nice fat healthy catch and release fish for a happy young angler.{%image_id=31313%} It is nice to have a successful Ft. Lauderdale fishing charter any day, especially when children are aboard and actively involved. This fish ate a live pilchard fished out long as an outrigger bait. So there are some around, only it would be nice if the numbers were higher. We are catching a few Kings as well and some of the smaller Blackfin Tunas. Some nice Kings, but again no big numbers.

Tight Lines,

Capt. John Logan
