December 28, 2014 Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of our friends around the world from Lady Pamela II sportfishing! It has certainly been a merry fishing Christmas for us so far this holiday season. On Christmas Eve gamefish were swarming the third reef edge off Fort Lauderdale. We caught a lot of king mackerel, blackfin tunas and a couple of nice mahi-mahi. On December 26th, we encountered a nice current rip in about 240 feet of water that produced a big shark, more king mackerel, blackfin tunas, and a sailfish. The Lady Pamela III driftfishing boat has been loading up on yellowtail and mangrove snappers during our nighttime snapper trips. We have been averaging 50 to over 100 fish per trip. Most of these fish are keeper snappers, but we are also landing a few groupers and gray triggerfish. The triggers average 2-4 lbs which is a perfect size for tasty fillets. Four hour trips are only $45 per person and are a great way to spend quality recreational time with the family. Why not give us a call and let's go fishing! Tight Lines, Capt.
