October 25, 2015 The great fall fishing has continued this week off Ft. Lauderdale. The mullet run is still going strong with pods of bait moving along the beach all the way to outside of the reef edge. The Lady Pamela II has been averaging two sailfish a trip, with some big mahi-mahi working relatively near shore in the 200-300 foot depth range, grabbing the sailfish baits. On the reef, we are seeing some big king mackerel and blackfin tunas, particularly around the bait pods. The spanish mackerel and tarpon have been all over the mullet schools that are in close to the beach, but we have not been targeting those species this week because of so much hot action offshore. What a terrible predicament; we have to choose what species we want to catch during the day! {%image_id=45651%} {%image_id=45650%} {%image_id=45649%} Tight Lines, Capt.
