Every cold front has brought in another batch of sailfish and has left some really good fishing. Last week a cold front came through and we had two days of great sailfishing, most half days were averaging 10-15 sailfish. As it warmed up the fish coninued south and by this saturday the fish were off key largo continueing south. On saturday's charter out of Fort Lauderdale the sails had all but left. I heard of a few early but it was all kingfish for us. It was nice to finally have some bigger kingfish again. We had 3 from 15-20 lbs and a 30lber. Mixed in were a few smaller fish as well as a few bonitas. We caugh all of our kings off the kite on goggle eyes, threadfin herring, and cigar minnows. On the beach last week we had a great run of cobia, they should be around for at least another week before they move to the north. They have been migrating nort on the backs of huge manta rays and best bet has been looking for them on the sunniest and clamest days.
