January 28 29, 2015 These past couple days we have had great fish sailfishing weather off of Fort Lauderdale. Several cold fronts came through this last week and the fishing turned red hot. A couple boats had up to 20 sailfish bites in one day. On Wednesday the Lady Pamela II caught two sailfish in the morning, and in the afternoon caught an Atlantic sharpnose shark and a silky shark. {%image_id=41998%} We haven't done much trolling this week because the kitefishing for sails has been so productive. Live baiting with goggleyes is the best way to target sails while kitefishing. Live goggleyes run $100 and more per dozen, and are not included in a basic charter fare, so be prepared to spend a little extra. There are no refunds for unused baits, but in my view they are still worth it, as sails cannot resist these baits. {%image_id=41999%} Tight Lines, Capt.
