{%image_id=61892%} January is the peak of sailfish season in south Florida. Sailfishing is pretty good from November through March, but January is the height of the season. We catch more sailfish this month than any two other months put together. The available bait in the area is probably a big contributing factor. Huge schools of ballyhoo, flying fish and sardines are currently dispersed throughout our waters. It's always about the food. Easy bait, a multitude of sailfish and cooler temperatures make fishing in January a superb month for the Fort Lauderdale fishing boat. Good luck to everyone fishing this week. Tight Lines! Capt.
