As the Fort Lauderdale waters start to cool the Mutton Snapper bite is on again. We have seen a lull in the Mutton bite in the last few months but the water temperature change has awakened the appetites of the tastey snappers. We are catching Muttons during our day drifts on long leaders with ballyhoo plugs and occasionally on whole squid. King fish seem to be the main stay of our day drift as most will flatline whole ballyhoo. {%image_id=17773%} During the night is when the Mutton seem to be most active as we continue to pound the Yellowtail, the occasional Mutton have been biting on the lightest lines of 12lb test or lighter. Silversides and King Belly are working the best, even with the thousands of finger Mullet that are running. http://deepseafishingsealegs.com
